Urodynamix and Laborie Medical Technologies Announce Worldwide Distribution Agreement

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 17, 2007 - Urodynamix Technologies Ltd. (TSX-V:URO) announced today that it has entered into a worldwide distribution agreement with Laborie Medical Technologies (“Laborie”), the world leader in urodynamics systems and pelvic-floor diagnostic devices. The agreement grants Laborie non-exclusive sales, marketing and distribution rights for Urodynamix’s URO-NIRS Bladder Monitor in North America and Europe, and exclusive sales, marketing and distribution rights in South America, the Middle East and Asia.

Under the terms of the agreement, Laborie will pay an upfront licensing fee, milestone payments, guarantee minimum sales quantities, and fund individual clinical trials to be carried out by Urodynamix in North America, South America, Middle East and Asia territories as part of Laborie’s sales and marketing commitment in each region. Specific financial terms and other details of the agreement were not disclosed.

“Our NIRS-based diagnostic system represents a breakthrough in urodynamics testing and creates an untapped new market in urinary incontinence and prostate disease,” said Urodynamix CEO Barry Allen. “Laborie has the largest and most knowledgeable urodynamics equipment sales force in the world and the enthusiasm and ability to effectively market our product within these regions. This partnership with Laborie is consistent with our strategy to maximize shareholder value by accelerating sales penetration and minimizing costs by working with existing specialized sales forces.”

“We have shown ourselves to be the market leader in urodynamics equipment and our sales force is well positioned to introduce and promote this exciting technology,” said Ing Goping, CEO of Laborie. “Leveraging Urodynamix’s NIRS technology with Laborie’s unique UDS™ platform will allow us to penetrate these large and growing markets. This agreement is consistent with our strategy to introduce the latest advances in technology, and improve medical care and quality of life for people with voiding disorders.”

Subject to regulatory approvals and Laborie’s launch program, Urodynamix expects the URO-NIRS Bladder Monitor product to be ready for launch in the US, Europe and Canada by the end of 2007.
